mako.co.il is an Israeli news and entertainment portal owned and operated by Keshet, the leading Israeli television broadcaster.  Mobile presents many opportunities but these need to be taken sooner rather than later. As one of the leading news websites and #9 in the Top 100 Sites in Israel (according to Alexa), mako had to go mobile.

Challenge

With ad revenue down and more people using digital recording mechanisms to bypass commercial breaks, the mobile channel is vital in securing new, effective, and lucrative advertising opportunities for  mako.
